Horsetail for food is called "Tsukushi" in Japan. This cardigan makes us feel the strength of the horsetail's bud coming up from the ground after long winter.

This raglan cardigan is worked from the top-down in Moss stitch.First, collar is knitted outward from center of neck,then stitches are picked up for yoke from a long side of the collar. Yoke and front bands are worked inone piece tounderarms, then sleeves are separated to work later. The front and back are knitted down together with increases,while leaving stitches on holders for pockets.Sleeves are picked upand worked down with decreases. Lastly,pockets are knitted on, then the side seams are sewn on the fronts.
