“Yabane” is one of Japanese traditional pattern. This pattern is designed from a feather part of arrow. Because an arrow is a symbol of keeping evil spirits away, this pattern has been popular as good luck charm for a long time.

Cowl knitted in the round from the bottom up, starting with 2x2 ribs inMC then Chevron pattern in alternating two colors followed by 2x2 ribs in MC.
